Today’s blog is coming to you straight from Host Merchant Services. We received in our mail today a brand spanking new copy of the 2012 BBB Buyer’s Guide: A Directory of BBB Accredited Businesses in Delaware. Hotness! Lo and behold, Host Merchant Services is included in their directory. There we are, page 19, under the heading of Credit Card Processing Service. We’re very easy to find, as we’re only one of two listed accredited processors in the state.
Yup, you read that right. We’re one of only two BBB accredited processors listed in their directory.
You can also take note that beginning today, we are including our BBB Stamp at the bottom of our website’s pages. All of our pages. It also provides a link to our accreditation.
Some Details About Accreditation
The Better Business Bureau is designed to be the authority on marketplace trust. Businesses earning BBB Accreditation agree to adhere to the BBB’s standards of ethical business behavior. These standards are a comprehensive set of policies, procedures and best practices focused on how you should be treated. By adhering to these standards the business gets their BBB seal and can represent themselves as being part of a collection of businesses that consumers have grown to trust. To be eligible for BBB Accreditation, companies must be in business for at least one year and have no unanswered complaints and a B rating or higher with the BBB. Businesses must demonstrate a high level of integrity and commitment to doing business the right way.
